WELCOME TO CARLISLE CENTURIONS FC

Carlisle Centurions FC nicknamed “The Eagles” was founded in November 2015 by Hamish Phillips & Daniel Moses out of our partnership with Houghton Primary school, for which we will always be grateful. Over a couple of years we had worked with the school running the after school football club on a Wednesday & Thursday afternoons and also participating in tournaments with the school teams.

This led to a number of players asking about having a football club in Houghton, which there had been in the past, word spread and players started asking to join from around the area, so the idea of forming a club was born.

That partnership still continues today with our u6’s training on the school playing field and in the school hall and the after school club is still running.

The club has FA Charter Standard accreditation, are affiliated to Cumberland FA and our teams play in the Carlisle Glass Longhorn leagues and the Penrith & District leagues. All our coaches are Cumberland FA enhanced DBS checked, each team has a qualified first aider and has a level 1 qualified coach assisted by volunteer coaches. The club also has a Welfare Officer and all our registered players are insured.

Our u7 to u13 teams play in the Carlisle Glass Longhorn leagues and our u14's play in the Penrith & District league.

Carlisle Centurions FC offer the opportunity to join a club whose ethos is designed for young players to learn new skills, develop their abilities, and gain confidence in a fun and enjoyable team environment.
